This is a sterling silver bonbon dish for sweets or small confections.
There is a full hallmark from the Birmingham assay office with the mark for sterling silver, the date letter for 1961 and the maker mark for Crisford & Norris Ltd.
The item measures 140 mm overall length, 90 mm at its widest and stands around 12 mm high and weighs in at 57.1 grams.
In very good condition, it is unlikely that the piece has been used, but more likely been on display in a cabinet.
